Sencha (standard and typical green tea) Details about Sencha
Sencha is the most standard and typical green tea.
Enjoy bitter and astringent taste and fresh smell.
High grade Sencha makes a delicate sweet taste and flavor after gulp down.
To drink with a meal. (\500~\800)
For tea break, taste just a tea or with cakes or cookies.(\2000~\3000)
You can enjoy both meal time and tea break.(\800~\1500)

Gyokuro (Sweet type tea) Details about Gyokuro
Gyokuro is well known as soft aroma and sweet, mild taste.
Pure Gyokuro (\1500~\6000) leaves are brought up under reed blind and straw.
Semi Gyokuro (\1000 and \1200) are done under black cloth.
This is for tea break with cookies or just a tea.
If it was first time for you to try Gyokuro, we recommend \1500 or \2000. Please try pure one first.

Matcha (Powdered tea) Details about Matcha
This tea is well known as for Tea Ceremony or The Way of tea.
But in Japan, we enjoy it not only at ceremony but also as daily tea.
Strong and much bitter \500~\900.
Soft flavor and mild taste \1100 or over.
It is delicious to mix it in ice cream, cakes and cookies, etc.
At formal time, You can take whatever for Usucha (light tea). But for Koicha
(muddy tea) we recommend \1600 or over.
We recommend, at least, you had better use a Chasen(bamboo whisk) to make it delicious.

Prices of Chasen \2000, \2200, \2500, \2800 and \3000.
\2000 or \2200 is good enough for daily use.
All our Chasen are made of Hachiku kind bamboo and made in Japan.

Karigane (Stem part tea)
The stem part tea.
If you do not dislike stem smell, this is very moderate in price.
\600 is from Sencha.
\1000 is from \1500~\2000 Gyokuro.
\1500 is from \3000 and over.

Houjicha (Roasted tea)
Tea for meal time. And for people who cannot sleep after drinking normal tea.


Genmaicha (Tea and roasted rice mixed)
Enjoy the tea taste and savory flavor at meal time.
80 years ago our shop invented this tea. We call this tea Horaicha.

Jin (Top leaves)
The top leaves are gathered. this tea has very strong and rich taste, but very difficult to draw.

Kawayanagi (Second cropped tea)
It is similar to Sencha. But taste is more light than Sencha. We enjoy Kawayanagi with a meal.
